The system comes standard with two mounting arms, but the PVS-14 can be mounted in either eye without interfering with the field of view of the other eye and can be immediately upgraded to a binocular system with two suitable PVS-14 units.
- Constructed from aircraft 6061-T6 aluminum and CNC machined, this integrated helmet mounting system provides binocular depth perception and flexible usage options for enhanced nighttime tactical operations. NIGHT VISION HELMET MOUNTING DEVICE The Dual PVS-14 Mounting System provides an adaptable system that can be configured as a single or dual tube stereo night vision system.
- The Bridge Dual PVS-14 NVG Mounting System offers redundancy, flexibility and ease of maintenance. With two independent power supplies in a dual PVS-14 setup, the risk of complete system failure is reduced. It works with any military standard PVS-14 for easy replacement and maintenance. The mount is compatible with all dovetail helmet mounts and will not interfere with the installation of the PVS-14 Ultimate Tool Mount.
- The unique design of the Dual PVS-14 Mounting System for Night Vision Helmets also allows one or both units to swing upward 180 degrees, completely out of sight, without interfering with the eye alignment of the other unit. This feature reduces the chance of the unit hitting branches, door frames or other obstacles and keeps the helmet's center of gravity as far back as possible for operator comfort.
